One of the joys of being a Workamper, is that we get to learn/experience new things. We have successfully managed a Christmas Tree lot, in southern Florida, every year since 2013. 

  We have also worked at campgrounds, both gay and straight, as well as a Resort in northern Colorado. It was mainly cabins and tent sites, but we primarily worked in ‘The Grille’ and helped in the General Store.  

   We  have  gained  lots  of  experience in different fields.  We work well with others and obviously enjoy the great outdoors.

  One of the reasons that we’ve been so successful in everything that we do, is because we FIRMLY believe in Customer Service, Customer Service, Customer Service!! We also have “Handy Husbandry” skills in light electric and plumbing, painting and remodeling, as well as grounds keeping and pool maintenance. 

We began our full time RV life style in May of 2013 in a 1979 Airstream 31’ Sovereign International. In March of 2017 we upgraded to a 1997 34’ Limited/Classic, which we tow with our 2011 Dodge Ram 3500. We currently travel with two  dogs. We are both hard workers and don’t mind long hours, during peak times. We are great at prioritizing and take pride in what we do. 

  I’m very outgoing and personable. Being from the South, I take pride in making people feel welcomed and comfortable.

  I worked for 25 years behind one of the busiest bars, on world famous Bourbon Street in the heart of New Orleans’ French Quarter. I also have 14 years of management experience in running a guest house in the French Quarter, prior to going “full time” in RV Lifestyle. 

  I’ve gained a lot of experience since we started and now we consider ourselves “RV Lifestyle Ambassadors.”

1. Landscaping - Design and maintenance skills with some horticultural experience.
2. Bar - Experienced in many aspects of the bar industry.
3. Retail - Great customer relations, inventory control, sales and display experience. 
4. People - Easily works with the general public and performs well with co-workers and managers.
5. Maintenance - Loves working outdoors, experienced with zero-turn mowers and other aspects of grounds keeping. Also knows basic cleaning of restrooms, showers and pools.
6. Warehouse- Has experience in driving/operating a forklift, along with great organizational skills.
7. Handyman - Has experience in painting and construction. Excellent problem solving skills.

  I have worked 25+ years in the food and beverage industry where I learned/worked in all aspects of the industry, which includes everything from short order cook to fine dining along with ordering of product/supplies, portion control and the creation of menus.

  I also have office and computer skills. Money management and payroll, as well as scheduling and reservations. 

1. Management - Hiring, firing, Scheduling, bookkeeping, ordering and delegating.
2. Retail - everything from setting up displays, ordering of stock, pricing, ringing up and selling items to handling cash and credit card sales.
3. Office Skills - accounting, computer skills, payroll and inventory.
4. Cooking - Everything from short order to 4 star, gourmet meals.
5. Restaurant/Bar - Experienced in all aspects of the food and beverage industry.
6. People - Easily works with the general public and performs well with co-workers, customers and managers.
7. Maintenance- Cleaning of restrooms, kitchen, bar, office and general campground maintenance, indoor and outdoor.
